About the course

The PPG project cargo forwarding training course has been restructured to a master class one-day format to better meet the needs of those who have limited time to be away from their offices. The two-day format has been delivered over the past 10 years in conjunction with major breakbulk and heavy-lift events and education programs around the world.

Over 500 participants from around the world had attended the two-day course that was the first of its kind specifically for the professional development of people involved with project cargo logistics management. However, industry feedback had encouraged the reformatting of the training into a one-day master class workshop.

The new master class workshop format is aimed clearly at project forwarders, 3PLs, clients and ECPMs to provide an integrated understanding of what is involved in the successful multi-model transportation of complex super-size cargoes and the management of risks for all stakeholders.

Blending project cargo knowledge and essential business communication skills has proved to be a powerful combination that encourages attendees to think differently about the way they do business. This course has been successfully held in successfully held in Mumbai, India (2009, 2016); Bremen, Germany (2009 & 2018); Singapore (2011,  2013 & 2018); Houston (2010 to 2017) and New Orleans (2011 & 2013) in conjunction with The Breakbulk Americas Conference & Exhibition; Australia (2011 & 2014); Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2011); Shanghai (2012 to 2017) in conjunction with the Breakbulk China Conference and Exhibition; Dar es Salaam (2014) in conjunction with Breakbulk Africa; and Antwerp (2013 & 2019) in conjunction with the European Breakbulk Conference and Exhibition and Antwerp XL, and is open to all companies associated with freight forwarding, project forwarding, Clients, EPCM's, supply chain management and logistics.
